Welcome to my channel! This is Andy from I love languages. Let's learn different languages/dialects together.

Special Thanks to Damien Wertz

Walloon is an Oïl language primarily spoken in South Belgium (Wallonia), with limited usage in Northern France and the northeastern part of Wisconsin, USA. Recognized as an endogenous regional language by the French Community of Belgium, Walloon is part of a language group that includes Picard, Franc-Comtois, and Lorrain, sharing common characteristics and a Germanic influence. Historically, Walloon was the dominant Romance language in Belgium until World War I, after which French supplanted it as the predominant language in Wallonia, leading to a decline in everyday usage.
