Welcome to my channel! This is Andy from I love languages. Let's learn different languages/dialects together.

Special Thanks to
Turinese: Simon Uslengh
Monferrine: Marco Giunti

The Turinese dialect is a variant of the Piedmontese language spoken in Turin, the capital of Piedmont and is the most spoken dialect of Western Piedmontese (and also of the whole Piedmontese language).
The variants can be detected in the variation of the accent and variation of words. It is sometimes difficult to understand a person that speaks a different Piedmontese from the one you are used to, as the words or accents are not the same.

The Monferrat dialect (or Monferrine) is a variant of the Piedmontese language, it is spoken in the historical and cultural region of Monferrato, a sub-region of Piedmont, in its southeastern part. Because of its geographical location, between the Genoese-speaking area to the south and the Lombard and Emilian ones to the east; Monferrine has influences among all these Gallo-Italic languages.
