Release the lamp plug from the housing by removing the two screws that surround the plug.
Remove all other housing screws with a screwdriver.
For this lamp there are only two screws located on one side of the housing.
Carefully pry the metal cover from the plastic housing using a flathead screwdriver on the screw side of the cover.
Do not pry on the clip side.
Guide the lamp plug and bulb out of the housing twisting the wires as needed.
Before removing the wire harness from the bulb, mark one wire with a piece of tape or sticker to make a note so that you don't forget if you've marked the rear or side terminal connection of the wire harness.
Release the rear bulb terminal by removing the nut and washer with a needle nose pliers.
Release the side bulb terminal by removing the screw with a phillips screwdriver.
Prior to installing your new bulb check both bulbs and verify that they are equal.
Reinstall the wire harness.
Refer back to your notes to confirm that you have matched the terminal connections correctly and to make sure that you have the wires pointing in the right direction.
Guide bulb and lamp plug back into the housing, twisting the wires as needed.
Reinsert the metal cover on the housing making sure that the metal clips are locked into the slots of the plastic housing.
Reinsert all cover screws.
Slide the plug back into place and hold it in place with the corresponding screws.
Well look at that...you did it!
Your lamp is now ready to be reinstalled into your TV!
