The power supply takes in and distributes power throughout the TV.
- Most Power Supply Units can be found within the TV control box. The control box is a metal box that contains the Power Supply Unit, Main Board, Tuner Board, & Accessory Input Board. Part numbers for these Power Supply Units are 13-17 characters long and begin with 860. Part numbers can be found printed on a label or directly on the board. Be sure to check for labels on the sides of capacitors and heatsinks: 860-XXX-XXXXXXX (X can be a number or lettter)
- Some Power Supply Units are only available by purchasing a new control box. Part numbers for control boxes typically begin with 909 and are printed on a label on the bottom of the control box. Make sure to read through notes and disclaimers on ShopJimmy product pages for compatibility information regarding T-Con connectors and voltage requirements: 909-XXX-XXXXXXXX (X can be a number or letter)
If your Power Supply Unit is not found within a control box, search our inventory by using part numbers found on the labels or board. Please be sure to follow all guidelines provided within the description and notes fields. Usually, searchable part numbers begin with 782 or 667. ShopJimmy suggests matching both the part number used as the ShopJimmy Item Number along with the TV model number in order to guarantee compatibility.
- Search Scenario #1: Your Search Returns An Exact Match
Search your part number on ShopJimmy.com to find a compatible replacement. Typically, your part number will match the ShopJimmy Item Number.
- Search Scenario #2: Your Search Returns A Differing Item Number
If searching your part number directs you to items that have differing ShopJimmy Item Numbers, take a look at the product details to confirm that your number is listed in the Part Number, Board Number, or Substitute Parts fields. If your number is listed in the Part Number, Manufacturer, or Board Number fields on a product page, but is different than the ShopJimmy Item number, that just means that we have found Manufacturer Part Numbers that relate to this product. As long as your part number is found in the Part Number or Board Number field, this item will be the correct replacement TV part for you. The manufacturer part number can be found in TV service manuals, but is not printed anywhere on the board.
- Search Scenario #3: Your Search Has Multiple Results
If searching your part number directs you to items that have slightly different numbers, take a look at the product details to confirm that your part number is in the Substitute Parts field. As long as your part number is found in the Substitute Parts field, this item will be a compatible substitute and will work in your TV. These substitutes are guaranteed to replace your original board, even if the part numbers on the board do not match.
-Search Scenario #4: Your Item Is Out Of Stock
If your part number is out of stock, be sure to check the Substitute Parts field on the product page for compatible replacements. These substitutes are guaranteed to replace your original board, even if the part numbers on the board do not match.
