Finding replacement TV parts for Sylvania, Emerson, Philips and Magnavox LCD TVs follow similar guidelines. Please note that parts for these TV brands have different names, and are usually grouped together on large boards.

- MUT boards typically house the Backlight Inverter & a portion of the Power Supply Unit.

- MPS boards typically house a portion of the Main Board & Power Supply Unit.

- If there is only one large board within your TV that contains elements of the Power Supply Unit, Main Board, & Backlight Inverter, the board is often called the MPW Board.

- The Digital Main Board, which houses your digital inputs & outputs, is a small green board, and is usually found hidden under a metal cover.

To find compatible replacement parts for these TV brands, begin by searching your TV model number on ShopJimmy.com. Filter your search results by selecting the desired part type, for example, Main Board. Read the short description under each relative item to hone in on the correct part for your specific TV. The short description notes will usually give a part number or serial number prefix that needs to match in order to guarantee compatibility.

If a part number needs to be verified, it can be found printed on a small paper label.

Serial number prefixes can be found on a label on the back of your TV, next to the letters "S/N" or the words "serial number." Make sure to check for notes on the product pages for information regarding installation guides and updates. Some parts, typically Digital Boards, may require manual configuration after installation. This can involve updating information within a service menu on the TV or upgrading firmware using a USB flashdrive.
All necessary information and instructions will be provided on relative ShopJimmy product pages.
