The Backlight Inverter is a part of your TV's Panel Assembly. The Backlight Inverter is mounted to the back of the Panel close to the left and or right edge, and is hidden under a metal or plastic cover. Some Panel Assemblies have multiple inverters, which will be named Master or Slave, depending on their location and function. Inverters are connected to the panel via small wires or lock into a series of small slot connections built into the panel. AU Optronics (AUO) T-Con boards are part-number specific, and do not require matching TV model number, serial number, or panel number in order to confirm compatibility.

If the label found on the back of the panel contains a AU Optronics (AUO) logo, then the Backlight Inverters will be manufactured by AUO, and are identified by using the following part number pattern: 19.##T##.C## The fifth character can be either a number or letter, as well as the eighth character. The part number is found in its entirety within a sequence of numbers and letters printed on the barcode label. The part number can be found between the first 2 dashes or hyphens ( - ).
