The Timing Control, or T-Con Board is a part of your TV's LCD Panel Assembly. The T-Con Board is centered on the top or bottom edge of the back of the Panel and hidden under a metal or plastic cover. It is connected to the Main Board via the LVDS Cable, and to the LCD Panel via flat ribbon cables. Chi Mei Optoelectronics (CMO) T-Con boards are part-number specific, and do not require matching TV model number, serial number, or panel number in order to confirm compatibility.

If the label found on the back of the panel contains a CMO logo, then the TCON board will be manufactured by CMO and is identified by using the following part number pattern: 35- followed by 1 letter and 6 numbers(35 - [A-Z]######). The part number is found in its entirety within a sequence of numbers and letters printed on the barcode label. Typically, the number will start after the first dollar sign ($).
