In this video, we will show how to replace the LED strips in this Hisense TV.
Start by removing all of the screws and back cover off the TV.
Remove the bracket supports on the chassis.
Disconnect and remove the speakers and speaker brackets.
While removing the bracket, disconnect the wifi module.
Remove the insulator sheet over both buffer boards.
Disconnect the ribbon cables on the t-con board.
Disconnect the grounding strips on the buffer boards.
Remove the screws around the entire bezel.
Flip the TV and remove the bezel.
Flip up the buffer boards and tape them to the panel.
Lift and remove the panel with suction cups, be sure to keep it level so that it does not crack.
Disconnect and remove the panel frame from around the TV.
There are a few screws holding the panel frame that need to be removed.
Lift the layers of diffusion and tape them together in the corners to keep them together.
Lift and remove the layers of diffusion from the chassis.
Remove the clips that are holding in the reflector sheet.
The clips can be pushed through from the board side of the chassis, or they can be removed on the panel side.
Gently remove the reflector sheet. It may be taped down in places and may need to be released. Take your time and be gentle.
These LED strips are held in by screws. Remove all of the screws on the LED strips.
Disconnect the LED strips from the power cables and remove the strips from the chassis.
Align the replacement LED strips, and adhere them to the chassis with the screws.
Connect the LED strips to the power cable.
Reinstall the reflector sheet.
Reinstall the clips.
Reinstall the layers of diffusion and remove the tape in the corners.
Reinstall the panel frame.
Remember to install the couple screws that were removed on the panel frame.
Reinstall the panel.
Remove the tape on the buffer boards and secure the buffer boards back into place.
Reinstall the bezel and screws around it.
Reinstall the speakers and brackets.
Reinstall the ribbon cables and connect them to the t-con and buffer boards.
Reinstall the back cover and install the screws.
