RESISTORS PART 1

In this video we learn about one of the most common electronic components - Resistors. I'll explain them from the point of view of a Repair Technician, so there isn't any complicated maths or theory in this video - just the basics that we do need to know.

This video is also about how to recognize different types of resistor, how to read the various types of markings you find on the components, and about the symbols you will see in circuit diagrams/schematics.

We also have a quick look at how resistors are used, how and why the are connected together in series and parallel and how to understand the Wattage of a resistor.
