This is a demo video to the introduction of the complete laptop motherboard component #switching. The basic working of BJT is important for understanding the working of the laptop motherboard.

BJT is a three-terminal device Emitter, collector and base. The base acts as the controlling terminal for the flow of current between Collector to the emitter.

BJT is classified into two categories:-
1. NPN Transistor
2. PNP Transistor

NPN transistor consists of two back to back connected PN junction diode. While a PNP transistor consists of two face to face PN junction diode.

Base to emitter voltage is required to switch on or switch off the transistor.

When BJT is in Cut-off state then it is in Switch OFF condition while in the Saturation region the BJT behaves as an ON switch connecting Emitter to the collector.
