The colorized effect lets you create a custom look to your footage by creating a simple color grade, and when you drop this effect onto your clip, you'll get this bright green wash over the whole image, which looks kind of cool if you're going for that night vision goggle kind of look, but let's create a more subtle teal orange look. We'll start by changing the color. I'll select this nice rich blue color from our theme. Then dial back the amount of color that's being applied. What you're looking for is a very light wash of color that's being applied over the entire clip. A little bit of this effect goes a really long way, and you can make this shot look like it was created at a different time of day, or under different lighting conditions.
