In this video tutorial we will show you how to grayscale in GIMP.

In order to grayscale an image in GIMP you need to start the program. Go to the "File" menu and choose "Open". Select the image on your computer and press "Open" button.

Go to the "Image" menu and select "Mode" option.

Choose "Grayscale" from the drop-down menu and apply to the image. The image has been successfully converted into grayscale.
