In this video tutorial we will show you how to highlight text in GIMP.

In order to highlight text in GIMP you need to start the program. Go to the "File" menu and choose "New". In the appeared window set the image properties and press "ОК".

Choose the "Text Tool" from the toolbar. Type the text into the image area. Place the cursor at the end of the text and move to the start of the word while holding the left mouse button pressed.

If you want to highlight a large text completely, you can place the cursor anywhere and press "Ctrl+A" on the keyboard.

As you can see, the text has been successfully selected.
