In this video tutorial we will show you how to align layers in GIMP.
In order to align layers in GIMP you must open the GIMP image. As you can see, we have the object located on a separated layer. In our case, the second layer is a background.

Go to the tools menu and choose "Alignment tool". Go to the object and click to select.

Go to the "Align" menu in the "Tool options" tab and apply alignment and distribution buttons.
