In this video tutorial we will show you how to rotate image in GIMP by degrees.
In order to rotate image in GIMP by degrees you must start the program. Go to the "File" menu and click "Open". Choose the image on your computer and press "Open" button. Go to the tools menu and choose "Rotate tool".
This tool is used to rotate the active layer, selection or path. Rotation dialog opens when you click with this tool on the image or selection.
In the appeared window you can set center of rotation, marked on the canvas of the circle and the angle of rotation. Set the options of rotation and press "Rotate".
All the same, but with a slightly lower accuracy can be done directly on the canvas. Also you can open this dialog by pressing "Shift+R" on the keyboard.
