In this video tutorial we will show you how to cut image in GIMP and paste.
In order to cut image in GIMP you must start the program. Go to the "File" menu and press "Open". In the following window select the image file and press "Open" button. Select "Zoom" tool from the toolbar to enlarge the image and press "Free Select" tool to create selection mask using control points.

After creating selection mask, go to the "Edit" menu and press "Cut" option.

Return to the "File" menu again and press "New" to create new file. Set the file options and press "OK".

After the file is created, go to the "Edit" menu and select Paste option.

As you can see, selected part of the image has been successfully inserted in the new file.
