In this tutorial, you will learn how to Remove Text from Image in Lightroom.
Lightroom has it’s a tool called Spot Removal tool which might be just perfect to remove text or anything else for that matter without leaving Lightroom.
To access the tool, in Develop screen press Q. On the right you can change the size, Feather and Opacity of the brush.
Now all you have to do is press on the part that needs removal. Lightroom will show you two circles. One is the spot that needs removal and the other one is the where it’s being sampled from. You can click and drag the sample circle around for further adjustment. Place it to the spot you like.
In addition, let’s take a look at the Spot Edit difference. Cloning is going to take exactly the information from the sample circle and clone it in. Whereas healing works differently, where it takes the information from the sample however plants it into the target circle with color, brightness, direction and other adjustments done along the way.
We suggest trying out the tool and seeing what works best for you. Depending on the image, clone and heal will yield different results.
What do you use Lightroom for? Please let us know in the comments.
