In this video tutorial we will show you how to create a button in Illustrator.

Launch the Adobe Illustrator. Go to the "File" menu and select "New" to create a new document. In the appeared window, set the document properties and press "OK". Click on the "Rounded Rectangle Tool" icon in the toolbar.

Create the rounded rectangle in the document area by clicking and dragging the cursor while holding the left mouse button . Switch to the "Selection Tool" from the toolbar and move the created rectangle if needed.

Click on the "Gradient" toolbar icon.

In the appeared window, open the gradient list and set the gradient fill on the object stroke. Click on the "Fill" icon to сhange the fill designation and set the background fill from the same list. Select the fill angle from the "Angle" drop-down menu.

Go to the toolbar and select the "Type Tool".

Then type the button title. Place the created label on the button. Go to the toolbar and click on the "Fill" icon. In the appeared window, change the label color and press "OK". Now the button has been successfully created.
