In this video tutorial we will show you how to drop shadow in Illustrator cs6.

Launch the Adobe Illustrator CS6. Go to the "File" menu and choose "New. In the appeared window set the document properties and press "OK". Go to the toolbar and select the "Type Tool".

Then type some text in the created document. Swith to the "Selection Tool" from the toolbar and transform the text.

Then go to "Fill" and change the text fill in the appeared color palette.

Go to the "Effect" menu and choose "Stylize" from the drop-down menu. Select "Drop Shadow" from the submenu.

In the appeared window check the "Preview" box.

Also adjust the "Opacity", "Mode" and Drop Shadow "Color" to your preference.

Then click the "OK" button. As you can see, the shadow effect has been successfully applied.
