In this video tutorial we will show you how to apply Illustrator effects.

Launch the Adobe Illustrator. Go to the "File" menu and choose "Open" from the drop-down menu.

In the appeared window select the file you want to edit and press "Open". Go to the "Effect" menu and choose any effect from the drop-down menu.

For example, select the "Blur" effect and choose "Radial Blur" from the submenu.

In the appeared window set the effect properties and press the "OK" button. Then go to the "Window" menu and choose the "Appearance" option.

In the "appearance window" you can adjust effects and their properties. Click the "OK" button to apply changes. As you can see, the effect has been successfully applied to the selected object.
