In this video tutorial we will show you how to use Illustrator opacity mask.

Launch the Adobe Illustrator. Go to the "File" menu and choose "Open". In the appeared window select the image you want to edit and press "Open".

Go to the program toolbar and select the "Pen Tool".

Then go to the document area and apply the "Pen Tool" to the image. When done, switch onto the "Selection Tool" from the toolbar and select all Pen Tool created points while holding the left mouse button and moving the mouse.

Then go to the "Object" menu, choose the "Clipping Mask" option from the drop-down menu and select the "Make" option from the submenu.

Now the Illustrator opacity mask has been successfully applied to the selected object.
