In this video tutorial we will show you how to create sun rays in Illustrator.

Launch the Adobe Illustrator. Go to the "File" menu and choose "New". In the appeared window, set the document properties and press "OK". Choose the "Ellipse Tool".

Create a circle while holding the "Shift" key. Then click on the "None" icon in the toolbar to remove the object stroke. Open the color palette and choose the object fill color, Using the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl+C", copy the object to the clipboard. Then press the "Ctrl+F" keyboard shortcut to insert the copied object to the same place. Double click on the "None" icon in the toolbar to remove fill and stroke from the selected object. Then click on the "Stroke" icon to activate it. Click the "Color" icon to assign a color. Then transform the selected object. To do this you need to point the object corner and moving it while holding the left mouse button and the "Shift+Alt" keyboard shortcut. Then go to the "Window" menu and choose the "Stroke" option from the drop-down menu.

In the appeared window check the box "Dashed line".

Press the "Preserves exact dash and gap lengths" button. Set the weight of the dashed line that you need.

As you can see, Illustrator sun rays has been successfully created.
