Step 1 -- Background Color
First of all, pick up the paint bucket tool to fill the background with black color. The color code used for this tutorial is "111111"

Step 2 -- Making dots on the canvas
With that done, create a new layer and select the "soft round" brush. Set the color to white and use the brush to make several dots on the canvas of different diameter. Make sure that the dots are spaced out from one another and should form a completely random pattern.

Step 3 -- Layer Style options
Next, double click on the layer to open the layer style panel and select the outer glow option. Over here, we have used a shade of pink for the color. The color code used is "92278f". After that, make sure that the opacity is set to 100%.

Step 4 -- Radial Blur Effect
With that done, make a duplicate of the layer containing the dots by pressing CTRL J on the keyboard. After that, go to the filter menu on top, move over to blur and select the radial blur option. Over here, we have used the default settings as it is, meaning 100 for the amount, zoom for the blur method and best for the quality. Simply apply the blur filter by pressing Ok.

Step 5 -- Transforming the layer
Now duplicate this layer and press "Ctrl T" to transform the layer. Drag the placeholders, on top, upwards to stretch the layer vertically.

Step 6 -- Changing Blend Methods
With that done, select the layer on which the blur filter was applied and change its opacity to 60%. Next, move back to the layer that was stretched earlier and change its blend mode to "overlay".

Step 7 -- Adding a layer Mask
Once done, click on the original dots layer and insert a layer mask. You can do that by clicking on the Add layer mask button on the layer panel. While the layer mask is selected, pick up the soft round brush tool and choose black color for the fill. Make sure the opacity is set to anywhere between 40 and 60%. With that done, start applying the brush to remove some of the excess dots on the layer. You can even use different level of opacity for different strokes.

Step 8 -- Applying the brush tool on the borders
Now create a new layer at the top and select "92278f" for the color fill. While the brush tool is selected, make sure the opacity is set to 30% and start applying the brush on the edges of the frame. You can use different level of opacity for different strokes over here as well.

Step 9 -- Erasing excess brush marks
At the end, pick up the eraser tool with the opacity set to 76% and hardness set to 0. Now start applying the eraser over the layer to remove some of the extra brush marks. Try to follow the pattern of the blur lines while applying the eraser over the layer.
With that done, our wormhole wallpaper is ready.
