In this tutorial, you will learn How to Create Tilt-Shift in Photoshop.
You may have stumbled upon the tilt-shift effect in Instagram, however may be wondering how to do this in Photoshop. Simply put, the tilt-shift effect makes your photo look like it was taken on a shallow depth of field lens.
️ In Photoshop, open a photo of your choice.
️ Go to Layer - Smart Objects - Convert to Smart Object, which will allow you to edit the filter effect later.
️ Then choose Filter - Blur Gallery - Tilt-Shift to open the dialog.
The blur filter interface is pretty straight forward.
️ You can now move the center of the blur effect, adjust the beginning and the end of the feather to the out of focus area.
️ You can also rotate the tilt shift effect and of course adjust the blur effect.
️ When done simply click OK.
️ To re-adjust the settings, double click on Blur Gallery under the layer.
That’s it! One simple trick that can increase the value of your photo immediately!
