During this Photoshop Elements 2019 tutorial video, we will introduce you to the basics of layers. We will take a look at the layers panel and how to control the visibility and opacity of a layer. We will also demonstrate how to add text layer and adjustment layer.

We will be working with layers. You will learn how to add layers by copying and pasting a selection, as well as how to delete, flatten, link/unlink, merge layer and group layers.

We'll then take a look at use of fill layers and color picker. We will show you how to insert solid color, gradient and pattern background. We will also talk about the foreground and background color.

Continuing with the PSE 2019 tutorial, we will talk about layer mask and how to work with it. We will specifically tackle how to select and edit layers.

We'll continue by taking look at the use of blending modes. We will show you the effects of blending to an image and demonstrate some examples of the blending modes.

By the end of the tutorial, you'll be using layers in photoshop.
