During this Microsoft Project 2016 training tutorial video, we will talk about baselines or what you plan to happen for your project. We will show you how to insert a baseline table for the entire project or for selected tasks only, set up a baseline, set up interim plan, and clear baselines. Some of the columns of the baseline table that are being discussed here are baseline duration, baseline start, baseline finish, baseline work, and baseline cost.

Your Project 2016 training continues with critical paths. A task is critical if it must be completed on schedule for the project to finish on schedule. We will also talk about filtering project critical tasks, finishing slack, resource leveling, leveling only when slack is available, and so on.

Finally, your trainer demonstrates how to update baselines by making the changes and setting a baseline for selected tasks.
