When it comes to Google responsive display ads specs, it's very simple to create them and you won't have trouble with image sizes or ad sizes. In addition, they will display for all different ad sizes across the Google Display Network, including native ad units and more. Responsive display ads give advertisers access to more inventory than uploaded ads unless you upload every single different ad size with multiple variations, which can take hours if not days.

What are Google responsive display ads?
Responsive display ads are an ad unit that you can use to create advertisements across the Google Display Network. You can create several headlines and descriptions, upload up to 15 images, upload up to 5 logos, create a long headline, set your final URL, and set a call-to-action. Google Ads will change your ad and combine different headlines, description lines, and image variations to figure out your top-performing ad combinations.
When should you use responsive display ads?
For every Display Advertising campaign, you should create at least 1 responsive display ad per ad group. There's no downside to testing multiple advertisements, and responsive display ads will allow you to create 1 advertisement than can change dynamically into hundreds of ad combinations.
The default ad type on the Google Display Network is Responsive Display Ads, which have effectively replaced responsive ads. They can be created and they will run as advertisements in your standard display campaigns and smart display campaigns.
All you need to do is create, upload, and fill out your assets. The assets include ad images, logos, headlines, and description lines. There is also a Final URL, long headline, call-to-action, business field, and custom colors to match your brand. Google will create different ads to fill different ad units using the assets you have created.
The main reason you want to use responsive display ads is because Google will use their machine learning and analyze the results from your advertisements to create the best possible display advertisements based on the actual results from your campaign.
You can also incorporate videos to your responsive display ads, which will show as people browse the Display Network. If your video ad units perform well, then Google will continue to serve them to new customers. Your responsive display videos will be displayed instead of images whenever the Google Ads system determines videos will drive better performance for you.
You can make your responsive display ads for your dynamic remarketing campaigns. You need to upload a product feed to show content to customers based on the pages they visit on your website.
