For this specific video, I will be going over 3 separate examples. The first will cover how to track Facebook Ads campaigns into your Google Analytics account. While you can separate your Facebook social traffic and Facebook Ads traffic in Google Analytics, you need to create custom URLs with UTM Parameters in order to understand your top performing campaigns, ad sets, and ads.
After that, I will go over how to track your Google Ads campaigns directly into Google Analytics. With Google AdWords, it is much easier because you just need to link your 2 accounts. Once you link your Google Analytics and Google Ads accounts, you will have auto-tagging enabled and you can track every little detail. That will help you understand exactly how your campaigns are performing.
Last but not least, I will show you how to track a specific marketing campaign or advertising campaign with multiple traffic sources. You will need to use the Campaign URL Builder and plan all the different sources of traffic for your website. Then, you will have 1 campaign in Google Analytics and you can see the successes of your campaign and learn when you run follow-up campaigns as well.
