A foot pimple or toe pimple is also known as a cyst. The most common foot cysts are a ganglion cyst or sebaceous cyst. This foot pimple is not quite a ganglion cyst but we did biopsy this cyst in the office. The results did show a granuloma with crystals and dead fat tissue inside it! This is not the most common foot and ankle cyst in the world, the most common is a ganglion cyst, but this one can occur. This foot pimple is not considered cancerous but an attack of the immune system on foreign cells. In this case the dead crystallized tissue was a granuloma filled with crystals and fat tissue!
