Upper trap, levator scapulae, and SNAGS/cervical rotation are all simple stretches to get started. These should help loosen up tight neck muscles and relieve pain in the neck and shoulder area.
Chin tucks, isometric cervical rotation, and isometric cervical sidebend are all simple exercises that do a great job of strengthening the muscles. These should help loosen up tight neck muscles and relieve pain in the neck and shoulder area as well.
