I’m going to be honest with you – I do not like traditional cardio workouts. The thought of running for 30 - 60 minutes on a treadmill or an elliptical trainer literally makes me want to hit my head on the wall.

I much prefer workouts that emphasize muscle strength and tone including resistance training.

So what if there was a way to actually combine the two? What if we could get all the benefits of an intense, heart pounding cardio workout with the added bonus of muscle strengthening and conditioning?

Well you’re in luck! Today is the day and this is the video!

In this video you’ll get (three benefits)

1. A great cardio burn! We’re going to get your heart rate up and keep it up throughout this entire workout. Rest breaks are minimal as we shred our way through this HIIT workout.

2. Total body strength training: We’re going to use all the major muscle groups in our upper body, lower body, and core making this a great total body routine.

3. A lightning quick workout: start to finish this whole work out will only take you 15 minutes to complete

All you will need for this workout is: one pair of dumbbells.

This will be a HIIT interval workout in 30:10 format - we’ll perform each exercise for 30 seconds followed by just a 10-second rest. We’ll repeat that 3 times per exercise for 7 total exercises. We’re going to hit it hard and we’re going to hit it fast!
