Neck tension and pain is a common issue that plagues millions of people every single year.
There are many factors that will cause your neck to get sore and stiff including sleeping on it wrong (waking up sore and stiff), physical activity (weight training, sports), car accidents, slips and falls, and other whiplash like injuries.
Often these problems will leave you with feelings of tightness, tension, muscle knots, and stiffness in your neck that can be downright unbearable at times.
Luckily, there is a lot that the right exercises can do to help you to feel better fast.
In this video I wanted to share five of my favorite stretches that you can do right now to help eliminate tension and pain in your tight neck muscles.
The key to treating this problem is to realize that your neck is a 3-dimensional structure. It moves forward-backward, side-to-side, and it rotates. It’s crucial that you focus on stretches that work in all three of these movements in order to maximize your outcomes and feel better fast.
