HIP STRENGTH IS IMPORTANT
Much of hip pain that people experience is a result of weakness in their hip muscles.

But did you know your hip strength plays a key role in your knee health and lower back health as well? In fact much of the treatment for knee pain and lower back pain includes strengthening the hips as well.

MY FAVORITE HIP STRENGTHENING EXERCISES
The best hip strengthening exercises are those that involved compound movements over multiple joints that can be easily progressed and overloaded.

In the opinions of most professionals, the “gold standard” hip strengthening exercises absolutely include weighted squats, weighted deadlifts, and weighted hip thrusts.

But what if injury, pain, or lack of equipment availability limits your ability to perform these exercises?

Don’t despair! I’ve got you taken care of in this video!

We can break these movements down into their component parts and work on them individually to work up to performing these movements.

That’s exactly what I want to share in this video! These are 9 must-do exercises to strengthen your hips; I’ll present them to you in order of beginner to advanced.

We’ll start with “isolation” exercises that are perfect for beginners and work all the way up through more advanced options. You’re sure to find a series of exercises in this video that is just right for your specific health, fitness, and strength level.
