Strong knees are healthy knees.
If you have pain in your knees one of the best things you can do is strengthen the muscles in your leg so your knee joints actually move better.
If you just feel like your legs are weak or they get tired with activities you enjoy performing like running, exercising, playing sports, etc, performing regular strengthening exercises can help give you the strength and energy you need to perform these activities.
And that is exactly what I want to give to you in this video! I’ll lead you through 4 simple exercises you can do right at home to improve strength and stability in your knees. I’ll even demonstrate beginner as well as intermediate versions of each of these exercise so you’re sure to find something that’s appropriate for your strength and ability level.
HOW TO STRENGTHEN YOUR KNEES
Now let’s make one thing very clear - your knees are a joint. Technically you cannot strengthen a joint and therefore you cannot “strengthen your knees” directly. However what we can do is strengthen all the MUSCLES that ACT on your knee joint to improve how they function! That’s exactly what I wanted to share with you in this video.
I’l show you some of the most-effective exercises to strengthen all the major muscles that act on your knees (your quads, hamstrings, calves, and hip abductors) to add stability and strength and improve the function of your knees.
These are the same exercises I give my physical therapy patients every single day and I know they can make a massive difference in your pain levels and how you move! I hope you find them effective for you as well.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I PERFORM THESE KNEE EXERCISES?
I recommend you perform these exercises one time daily for maximum benefit. Pay attention to your body and how you’re feeling as initially you may have to decrease this frequency until you feel strong enough to go to once a day.
