Many of us love Microsoft PowerPoint, while others prefer Apple Keynote. Wouldn’t it be great to convert PowerPoint to Keynote to use your favorite templates? It’s easy to do just that!

In this video, Andrew Childress shows you how to convert PowerPoint (PPTX) to Mac Keynote presentations.

You'll start by using the Paradox PowerPoint Template from Envato Elements: https://elements.envato.com/paradox-powerpoint-template-NF89U6?utm_campaign=yt_tutsplus_06wlzI4bPJM&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=youtube.com&utm_content=description

It’s available in PPT format, not Keynote. But that’s no problem. With the template downloaded, find the .pptx file. Right-click, choose Open With, and click Keynote. The slide deck will launch in Apple Keynote!

When you convert PowerPoint to Keynote, a menu will appear. Keynote does an excellent job of converting presentation formats, but you will still have some work to do. In this case, missing fonts are referenced. Click Replace Fonts, and choose new designs to replace those that are missing. Then, click Replace Fonts again.

Slide #64 is mentioned, because the charts on it aren’t supported in Keynote. Navigate to it, and check out the layout. In this case, it still looks great. But if you don’t like it, add a replacement chart in by using Keynote’s charting features.

Finally, scroll through your slide deck to ensure every slide looks its best. As you can see, it's easy to convert PowerPoint to Keynote.
