When you think of how to create a template in Word, consider the design elements you use most often. In this example, we’re using a letterhead template. Swap out the placeholder text and graphics with your own designs. For example, you’ll keep common details like your company name, address, and more.
When you’ve finished replacing the default Word template content with your own, it’s time to save template Word designs for future use. How to make a template in Word reusable really depends on where you save it. Find the Save As Template option on Word’s File menu.
