PowerPoint size is an important decision. It controls how your slides will appear to an audience. Choosing the right PowerPoint dimensions helps you make a great impression.
PowerPoint size typically falls into two categories. Standard layouts are more square, with a 4:3 aspect ratio. This size is common to many projectors, so you should choose this if you plan to connect to one.
Widescreen is a 16:9 ratio, common to most laptops and displays. If you're sharing on your computer, or by connecting to a TV or monitor, Widescreen is best.
To change the PowerPoint dimensions, find the Design tab on PPT's ribbon. Then, click on the Slide Size dropdown menu on the right side. The current PowerPoint size is highlighted in orange here.
To change the PowerPoint size, click on the option that isn't highlighted. You can also apply custom PowerPoint dimension options by clicking on Page Setup. Here, you'll see an array of custom options on the dropdown menus.
When you select a new option, it's best to choose Scale. This ensures that slide content will adjust to look its best in your new PowerPoint size.
As you can see, it's easy to change the size of your PowerPoint slides. Choose a premium template from Envato Elements and get started today!
