The timeline design on slide 25 is a great choice. First, it's time to resize the slide to make it a poster. Posters usually follow a standard size. Academic posters are 36x48 inches, movie posters are 24x36, and others are 18x24 inches. For this example, we’ll make an 18x24 poster.

To change the size, find the Slide Size button on PowerPoint's Design tab. Choose Page Setup, and type in your desired size into the boxes. Click OK, then click Scale, and watch as your slide resizes.

Now, it's a matter of swapping out the text on the poster for your own words. Click into a text box, remove the contents, and start typing. Remember to use large, bold fonts that are easy to read. You can also drag and drop images right onto your slides!
