One of the most commonly asked questions, or area of trouble for most folks starting out in sound, would have to be “ How do I know what to adjust on the EQ?”. Now while, understanding how an EQ works would definitely be top of the list, the biggest challenge always seems to be helping people identify the sounds or frequencies they need to adjust to achieve the desired result. Frequencies are the measurement of soundwaves, expressed in hertz. There’s a lot behind all this, but we want to sort of skip past that and help you learn to hear the different sounds, which will in turn allow you to identify and adjust these sounds as you need in your audio mixes.

When watching the video, we recommend using good speakers or headphones, as some of the really low and really high frequencies won't be reproduced on laptop or phone speakers.
