FOCUS AND DISTRACTIONS:
Are you constantly getting distracted, struggling to focus and feeling the pressure of trying to get things done but feel like you can’t? Well in this week’s video I will give you the BEST tips to help you stay focused and stop getting distracted.

Let’s take a look at why we get distracted in the first place. Well, in our current age of technology, it’s so easy to find something to distract yourself with. Whether it’s looking at photos, endlessly scrolling through videos or playing games.

Now before you charge your phone, start reading a book or wash the dishes - notice that these are all External triggers. They are your way of avoiding what you really need to get.

Internal triggers are what you really need to focus on. These are the thoughts and feelings you have which lead to the uncomfortable emotional state that we are constantly trying to escape from! For example, when you’re bored or lonely you might check your social media. When you’re uncertain about something you might google it or check the news - the truth is, we’ll do ANYTHING to avoid uncomfortable sensations or situations that we’re not ready to experience.
