WHEN TO SEEK MEDICAL ADVICE ON YOUR CONFIDENCE:
When low confidence becomes a long-term problem, it can have a harmful effect on our mental health and our day-to-day lives. Sometimes you might need help from a Healthcare Professional to make a plan to improve your confidence. Here are some examples of when that might apply to you:

You may have experienced a traumatic event which makes you anxious about making life decisions. Or you might be finding it difficult to live normally because of negative thoughts. Feeling this way is a sign you may need to see a Healthcare Professional for further advice.

Being unable to sleep or no longer enjoying your favourite hobbies are also signs you should seek Professional help. Your healthcare professional may refer you to a specialist in psychology or offer a program such as CBT. Medication is also an option they may consider when treating you. When you are given these options you can make an informed decision about your health.

Remember Healthcare Professionals are always there for you and won’t judge you. Being open to discussion with them will help you get the best healthcare treatment. Taking a few moments to book an appointment over the phone or in person can really make all the difference to help you improve your confidence.
