In this video called Big Toe Stretch for Plantar Fasciitis and 1st Metatarsal Tightness I demonstrate a super simple stretch that you can do at home which will make you first steps in the morning so much easier.
You simply sit on a flat surface with your knee straight and place a long towel under the calf and bring the towel around the heel, under the sole of the foot, around the big toe and pull back and down toward your thigh.
Hold the stretch for 30 seconds and repeat 5 times, 3-4 times a day but most importantly before putting your feet on the floor in the morning.
