Symptoms

H. Pylori infections.
**Suppress parietal cells of the stomach decreasing HCL.
Will cause malabsorption of iron, B12 and calcium.
Increases chances of getting SIBO.
Decrease mircobiome diversity
**Damage vascular endothelium
**Antibody molecular mimicry
Parietal cells-autoimmune
Gastric Lining-gastritis
Pancreas-Type 1 diabetes

Testing
1. Endoscopy with biopsy-invasive, reliable for active infection and metaplasia/gastritis
2. H. Pylori Breath Test-Reliable for active infection, non-invasive
3. H. Pylori Stool Antigen Test-Reliable for active infection, non-invasive
4. Blood, H. Pylori Antibody Test-does not indicate active infection. Possible past infection.

Steps to manage H. Pylori infection.
1. ACV test. 2 table spoons mixed in water 5 minutes before a meal.
**Burning--consider gut healing protocol.
**No Burning--1 capsule of HCL. If no burning proceed to treatment protocol. If there is burning, consider ACV with gut healing protocol.
