In this video, we’re going to talk about the liver body type. The liver is about three and a half pounds and the size of a football. It’s located on your right side.

Someone with a liver body type will have a big pot belly or beer belly. If you tap one side of the belly, you will feel a ripple effect—this is because the belly in filled with fluid. A million sit-ups will not flatten this kind of stomach. That’s because it’s a result of an unhealthy liver.

What causes damage to your liver? Consuming healthy cooked meats, like large steaks, is a huge cause of liver damage. This fattens up your liver. Alcohol is another cause of liver damage.

The good thing about the liver is that it’s the only organ that can regenerate 100%. But the bad news is that it takes three years of eating a healthy diet to repair.

A liver problem will often cause pain to the right shoulder. It can also cause little red dots or bumps on your skin, liver spots, eczema, itchy skin, hot feet, white tongue, halitosis, and digestive bloating.

The liver creates bile, which is important for digestion. If you have low bile, you will notice:
• Bloating
• Burping/belching
• Headaches
• Fat-soluble vitamin deficiencies
• Cravings for deep-fried foods
• Cravings for sweets after you eat
• Grouchiness in the morning

The liver body type does very well on cruciferous vegetables.
