In this video, I explain what I recommend if you have ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease. At one of my summits, a gentleman attended who’d been in remission from ALS for a year. He was doing two of the things I recommend: the ketogenic diet and intermittent fasting.

When you look up ALS online, you’ll find many sites that discuss the prognosis, the symptoms, and your life expectancy. It’s a rapidly progressing neurodegenerative condition. You may die within three to five years. Symptoms are muscle wasting, speech difficulty, respiratory failure, and muscle atrophy. But you won’t find much information about what you can do about your condition.

Here is how you can potentially improve your condition. Now, some of the data I’m going to tell you is based on mice studies, so keep that in mind. I have no idea if this information will cure you, or prevent the problem. I don’t know if it will improve things. But, I do know there is a lot of data about how nutrients support your nervous system.

First, I recommend you take 20,000 IU of vitamin D. Check out the links below to my previous videos about vitamin D. It’s an incredibly important nutrient. If you’re deficient, your health declines about four times faster than if you’re not deficient. Vitamin D is actually a steroid that acts similarly to cortisol. Prednisone, the synthetic version of cortisol, is one of the main treatments for autoimmune conditions like ALS.

Next, get on healthy keto, so your body will make ketones. They’re neuroprotective. Check out the link below this video. Additionally, take MCT oil to raise your ketones. Start off with just half a teaspoon.

Third, do intermittent fasting. This is important! Intermittent fasting is good for any type of autoimmune condition because it lowers inflammation. ALS has an inflammatory component it. Fasting will also improve your immune system, especially your stem cells, and particularly if you do periodic prolonged fasting.

As well, take zinc, copper, vitamin B12, a full complex vitamin E, and an omega 3 fatty acid called DHA. Make sure you choose a product that has zinc and copper together so they balance each other out. B12 protects the myelin sheath around your nerves, while vitamin E is an antioxidant.

Lastly, get a good water purifier.

These are what I recommend for ALS.
