In this video, we’re going to talk about reversing diabetes. The American Diabetes Association published a study claiming that type 2 diabetes remission is possible, but very rare.

According to the study, diabetes remission has occurred in people who have had weight loss surgery, as well as people who have made lifestyle and diet changes. Overall, only 1.6% of people in the study had some kind of diabetes remission.

What lifestyle and diet changes did the study participants make to reverse diabetes? The answer wasn’t clear in the study, so I did my own research. I found some interesting data about diabetes and the ketogenic diet called The Virta Treatment.

Research shows a 60% reversal of type 2 diabetes in people on a healthy ketosis diet after one year. Also, 94% of people using insulin were able to reduce or eliminate its use after one year.

I have seen many people on a ketogenic diet who have seen massive changes in their blood sugar. Healthy ketosis reduces their need for insulin and aids in the reversal of diabetes.

If you want to help reverse diabetes and increase your chance of remission from 1.6% to 60%, try healthy keto.
