Dr. Berg debunks the myth about saturated fats causes insulin resistance, prediabetes or diabetes.
This conflicting information keeps people in confusion.
In this video, Dr. Berg walks you through more of the research so you can understand both arguments and the real truth about what the studies say.
Insulin is a hormone that regulates blood sugars. The presence of insulin in the body prevents fat burning and causes fat to be stored.
Insulin resistance is when cells don’t respond well to insulin and can’t easily take up glucose from your blood. People with insulin resistance have 5 to 7x more insulin than normal people.
