In this video, we’re going to discuss the myth of soy. I want to fill you in on the truth about soy and what it does to the body.

Soy has been marketed as a health food, but is soy healthy? There are two types of soy:

Fermented Soy:

• Tofu
• Tempe
• Miso
• Soy sauce

Unfermented soy:

• Soy powder
• Veggie patties
• Soy protein isolates

Unfermented soy acts like an estrogen in your body. Typically it’s also GMO. The myth of soy is that it’s a health food. But, unfermented soy can be very damaging to your body.

Baby food, soy milk, soy meat, protein bars, and prepackaged diet foods can actually contain unfermented soy.

Estrogen can affect you at the DNA level. Some side effects of this estrogen from unfermented soy products are:

• Tumors
• Fibroids
• Cysts
• Cancer
