In this video, we're going to talk about the real pain of pleasure foods. I'm going to share with you what's really behind this, and what you need to do to overcome food cravings.

When we look below the surface of sugar cravings or food cravings, we see that people really love to feel pleasure. We try to relieve stress, upset, hunger, fatigue, and pain by eating certain pleasure foods. When you're feeling tempted by junk food cravings, you need to ask yourself what problem you're really trying to solve, and fix the real problem instead of covering it up with foods. As soon as you give in to food cravings, you want more and more.

Food triggers various responses that cause hormones to be affected. The hormones that are affected are serotonin and beta-endorphins. Your body doesn't have words to talk to you, but it will talk to you through cravings. Cravings are your body's way of communicating to you what nutrients it needs. There is a chemical imbalance that occurs with cravings and a nutrient imbalance, as well.

Be aware of what you're eating. Let's say you eat something small and sweet, that little treat could block fat burning for up to 72 hours. The bad foods can also create a plethora of other side effects and problems. Are chocolate, snacks, and other bad foods really worth the pain of pleasure foods?

How to overcome pleasure foods and food cravings:

• You have to replace this bad food with healthy foods that still create a pleasurable effect. Increase the healthy fats in your diet. I provide many different recipes on my website that are great healthy alternatives to junk foods.
• Increase the nutrients you're getting to help the body.
