In this video, we’re going to talk about different vitamin K2 functions and benefits.

You may have heard of vitamin K1, which is involved in clotting. But, vitamin K2 is a completely different vitamin that not enough people know about.

What is vitamin K2, and what are some important vitamin K2 functions? Vitamins K2 is a vitamin that is involved in the transportation of calcium. It supports calcium metabolism.

People who take calcium may not realize that it could actually increase their risk of heart attacks. Why? Because they are still missing vitamin K2, which helps transport the calcium from the blood into the bone.

Vitamin K2 benefits:

• Helps support healthy bones
• Helps remove soft tissue calcium

I recommend taking vitamin K2 with vitamin D. If you have too much calcium build-up, you may not want to take more calcium. Instead, you may want to take vitamin K2 to clean up the calcium you already have. However, a small amount of calcium may be necessary for those who have conditions like osteoporosis or osteopenia. But, if you’re eating healthy fermented dairy products, you’re likely getting enough calcium, you just need the vitamin K2.

One of the most important vitamin K2 functions is supporting healthy bone metabolism. If you want to do that, consider taking vitamin K2.
